THE TEAM
We're artists, technologists and futurists. Our creativity is shaped by the places, cultures and disciplines we've worked across. As an artist himself, Ben Sheppee built the studio through two decades of travelling: Tokyo, Paris, San Francisco — absorbing and building a global network of collaborators that we pull from on every project. Simon has extensive experience in the build and compatibility of creative technologies from two decades in the industry. Valeria keeps the guys in check and makes accounts run smoothly...

FUTURES
We’re always interested in speaking with individuals who have strong industry connections and know how to turn conversations into meaningful projects. We’re open to flexible structures — from part-time and freelance to longer-term roles — depending on what makes sense for both sides.
We have currently have an opening for a Partnership Developer and are looking to fill a Mid-Career / Senior position to help introduce new lines of work.
We are also interested to see demo reels from Interactive Designers and 3d Animators to manage current business on both a freelance and part time basis.

EVOLUTION
Designing tomorrow without borrowing from it. Effort is required to safeguard our future. Sustainability is an important part of our creative culture and daily operations. Observatory is committed to monitoring efforts with the goal to minimising its impact on the environment. We began tracking CO2 emissions in 2020, and we offer match funded carbon offsetting through cnaught.com on our projects.
